Lorenzo came out of Carini's signature designs from the Water World Series. Inspired by coral reefs, patterns on fish, ripples on the ocean floor, this collection evolved out of a deep fascination with the color and forms of nature under the sea.

Lorenzo is usually made with a wool background with details in silk. The higher concentration of wool gives it more of a matte finish with sheen in the details rather than the background.

The first versions were always done in watery colors, such as blue, green, and grey. Since then, Carini has made many color way renditions, including this stunning pink Lorenzo Violet.
